On behalf of Expert Village my name is Lizbeth Muller and today I'm going to teach how to
make arroz con pollo. I'm going to take my peas now, drain most of the water out and
then I'm going to place it in here cause arroz con pollo needs peas. I use a small can. Again
I'm using a small can; actually have a lot of rice. You can use a large can if you are
doing 5 cups. If you like a lot of the peas you want to use more that is fine. I will
tell you that some people even use olives in there arroz con pollo. I have a Puerto
Rican friend of my Eve. she is very sweet and she cuts in pieces of olive cause it has
the pimento in it already and she puts it in there and dices it up. Now I'm going to
take the pimento which is like red sweet peppers. I'm going to place it in there, just open
it up and drain the water. I think I'm going to take it over here and I'm going to dice
it first. I'm going to take it out of here and I want to put like dices of it in the
arroz con pollo. Cut it up.
