Now we're going to place the stones on the upper body in supine position. I like to keep
the sheet over the body so not to damage the skin from the heat of the stones. I place
one stone on the pecs. These are lifting muscles, these are muscles that you want to open up
so the chest can take in more air. I'm going to put one on the sternum, which is also a
shocker point, so I am affecting the energy flow of the body. One on the upper abdomen,
especially good for people with stomach problems like IBS, it soothes the muscles. I'm going
to put one below the belly button. Actually, I'm going to be two on the sternum, just because
that looked lonely. In this position, I also like to give the client a stone to hold. It's
interactive and it keeps them warm. As the body relaxes, the body temperature does lower.
That's stone placement on the upper body in supine.
