okay I have a Nikon camera here
and my problem is the SD card slot
in here, I have an SD card
and the card doesn't come out anymore so, usually you have to push in here
and then the card would eject
and you would pull it out and that doesn't work anymore with my camera
so, the solution now
would be to take it to the to the shop and have them fix it
they probably wanna put in a new card reader
and for that you have to disassemble the whole camera
so I imagine that costs some dollars
i am gonna find a solution for this thing here
to save some dollars
so, what i am gonna do is, I pry this out
so this will be very bad for the card
I will have to use some pliers to pull on the card
to pull, and the card will break
let me try this, i pull really hard
so, what happens is the card breaks here at the corners
some plastic pieces break off so you can imagine how I not wanna do this every time
I want to copy pictures.
my solution is this: I brought a
Micro SD card that came with a card reader and what I'm gonna do is this
I am gonna put, after I forcefully remove
the other card.
I put this in here, OK
and then the Micro card the Micro SD card basically
goes here into the reader I wonder, if you can see this here
alright, goes in there
then I turn my camera on, and see if this works
and it seems to work
I take the lens cover off
works, perfect
so, if I now want to copy the pictures to my computer
open it and I can pull with my fingernail the small little card out
and for that I have a card reader
here that I can recommend very well
it is a USB 3 card reader and then it has a slot for a micro SD card
I can put this in here without an adapter
and I plug this into my USB 3
and I can copy very quickly
those pictures. It is a very nice tool
The new card is a little tiny
very well now. This is not to bad, I think.
