Hi everybody my name is Matt and speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going
to over some of the settings and azureus that might help you out if you want to go ahead
and click tools, and click options it will take you to a set of options for azureus and
on the left you'll notice that there's a lot of different little options you can configure.
One of the most important is if you click on files, you'll see where it says default
directory over here on the right, and and in this case I've set my default directory
to the azureus download folder on my D drive and that' where all my torrents automatically
download to and that's where you can find all the files that you download it. If you
go down and click on q to the right you can see a set of options at the top it'll say
the maximum some of downloads you can limit the amount of torrents that you download at
the same time if you set that to zero that's going to mean you can set as many torrents
as you want at the same time. However this usually not advantages because it'll usually
spread out the band width your downloading at throughout all of your downloads. And it'll
just take forever for all of your files to download so I'm going to have to suggest that
you only download 2 or 3 maybe 4 torrents at the same time. If you go up here and click
transfer to the right it will say kilo bites for second. Below it will also have download
speed your going to probably want the maximum download to zero which is unlimited which
is means you can download you files as fast as possible. If you go up here to upload your
probably going to want limit that your download speeds is in relation to your upload speed
but your going to want to cap your upload speed this is basically your going to have
to play around with and punch in different numbers in each of these and see how that
effects your download speed and fine what works best for you so there's a lot of different
settings that you can play around with in azureus and speed up your connection and your
downloads.
