For this project, I'm going to use a nontoxic water based glue that dries clear, to glue
our glass to our wood. There's two ways that you can choose to glue. One is applying the
glue directly to the glass, enough to cover the whole back, placing the glass and then
pressing it firmly down. You will see some glue being squeezed out from the edges, that's
o.k., cause not only does it dry clear, but also it'll be covered when you grout it. Another
way you can choose to glue is to put glue directly onto your substrate, not too much
because you don't want to do more than you can mosaic in about five minutes. And then
just glue pieces down from there. Again, don't worry if you can see the glue because it'll
dry clear and it'll be covered by the grout. This process helps you fill a bigger area
of space in less time, than gluing each piece individually, although it gives you a little
less time to be detailed in your work.
