In this video we’ll go through some basic features.
Let’s get going.
The meeting is running with a few participants present.
and let me go through the interface quickly.
On the ribbon panel we have all kinds of stuff,
we can create slides, share our screen, manage files and so on.
We’ll come back to those tabs in a minute.
On the right side is the place where we can turn on our mic and camera.
We can also see that a video status icon in the participant list turns green.
We can manage users from the participants list,
turn on and off video and audio,
promote them to the host, put them on the podium,
where the main speaker appears,
open a private chat and so on.
Then in the middle is the place where we can create or import content.
To get started, let’s create some more slides.
We can use annotation tools to create some content,
for instance with a pen tool, or simply by using text tool.
Instead of a slide, we could also share a screen.
We can also import a powerpoint presentation but more about this in another tutorial.
Let's take a look at one more thing.
In the share tab there are two options available. Work alone and follow presentation.
If we click follow presentation, and select different slides, everybody else will follow our selection.
So this is a public slide.
If we want to edit the slide without disrupting the other participants,
we need to choose work alone.
The thumbnail frame turns orange and this indicates work alone mode.
Now we can switch the slide without changing the public slide.
Hope you found the tutorial useful, thanks for watching and we'll see you in the next video.
