Capturing inspiring landscape images, like this one of the village of 'El Tesorero',
can turn into an excellent practical exercise
for a photography course like the ones organised by
'Al Andalus Photo Tour'.
This initiative is mainly based on the experience gained by Peter Manschot,
who believes in enriching the snapshots
by applying his familiarization with each landscape;
as a result, 'Al Andalus Photo Tour' workshops
include outdoor practical sessions
where you can experience the usage of your own camera.
"We are providing a photo course:
while teaching the basics of the technique,
since people in the group are mainly beginners,
we show them how to correctly compose a picture,
or how to arrange it creatively,
and then, the participants are taken to surroundings where the theory they have learnt can be turned into practice."
The workshops are scheduled over a weekend,
however, 'Al Andalus Photo Tour' also offers photographic journeys of up to eight days,
allowing the participants to sample a vast array of options from the Andalusian landscape.
The journey extends from the wet prints of 'Alcornocales' and 'Grazalema',
to the desertic 'Tabernas' and takes place either during daytime or twilight.
"Digital photography permits to capture images of breathtaking beauty
even during twilight and evening hours.
This is the reason why nocturnal photography, of which I am a specialist,
has been incorporated into our workshops".
We offer intensive workshops where you will learn about technical quality and photographic composition
while exploring the countryside
which does not appear in tourist guides.
It is possible to adapt the workshops according to the students' level
of knowledge.
"If the students are already professionals, we can assist by being the locators,
taking them to the most exclusive, interesting and photogenic spots,
during the most spectacular time of the day, and, from that perspective, facilitate the job
of the photographers who already join the course with a certain level of understanding".
Nature sightings filled with enjoyment and learning.
Planned or spontaneous captured images
remaining unremovable in the memory everytime the click of a camera is heard.
