It is important for us to understand
all of the components that make up a good athlete.
The quality of the athletes movement, it's as important as how fast they move.
We know how to build the speed to the movement.
If we build the speed on a faulty pattern, it will break down.
So, we want to have a look at their movement.
We look at strength, then we look at mobility.
We look at speed, agility, power. We do this functional movement screen.
We do a wide balance test. We look at their ability to produce force and absorb force.
Once we know where we need to start we make that program tailored to that individual player.
What we do here is what takes place all over the world at the top levels.
It is the simple, tiny little margins that really make the big difference.
