Hi, my name is Nikko Locastro. I'm from St. Louis Missouri, but I currently reside in
Northern California, Grass Valley area and we're going to start the In The Bag.
I'm going to start with my main putter right now. It's a stiffer version of the 300 series
PA-1. Been practicing a lot with these, and I'm really feeling them. They hold a really
good line consistent, and very controllable. I got two of these.
I like them a little stiffer, and then I'll move on to my throwers, start off with my
understable more of the Hyzer flip PA-1.
This one has been beat up a little bit, it's the first one that I pulled out of the box.
I've been able to hold onto it. It's came back to me a couple of times, forgot on the
course. Been some nice people to return it, thank you.
Then we'll move on to the more over stable one, it's the big brother of the other pinky.
This one Is just slightly more overstable.
Then I'll move on to my most overstable putterwhich is the 400 series PA-1. It's a good
disc, it's fun to throw, it's very controllable, you can even throw with a little bit of turn
and it still come out in Hyzer.
Having fun with that disc, and then I will move on to my mid range game. I'm going from
understable to overstable. Here's my 300 series M4.I like this one on Hyzer flips, and long
glidy turnover shots. It's been in my bag for a long time, as you could see, it's been
a little scuffed up. I even roll this disc sometimes, it holds a nice line, and I have
a lot of fun with this, I play in grass valley a lot, and the shots there are very wooded,
and tighten narrow fairways. I really enjoy throwing Hyzer flips with my M4.
Moving onto my slightly beat up 300 series M3. This is a 178 gram disc. This one goes
a little bit further than my M4, it has a really good nice tacky feel to it, and I love
the stamps here that I've been working on the Fly Life disc golf line. That's the brand
I've been growing.
Moving on to my next mid range, which is a disc I just put in my bag. It's my signature
series with the camo stamp M3 and the 400 series. This one is really good on slight
turnover to flat shots.
Then I move on to my most overstable midrange in my bag. I prefer throwing the M3s, I've
been workin these discs in my bag and they've been working out really good for me, this
is my red overstable 400 series. I like this one for Hyzer all the way, just keep it on
a smooth Hyzer. I usually throw with a pinch grip on these, but I could even power grip
these ones and still control it on long straight shots.
Now moving on to one of my favorite disc in the Prodigy line up, this is the Prodigy F7.
This one is really good for rollers, hyzer flips, turnover shots, it's more of the understable
fairway driver but I have a lot of fun throwing this disc as well. I have a lot of fun throwing
all of these discs, I'm going to keep saying that over and over again. It's been good to
learn a new bag of discs the last year and a half. Really becoming comfortable in my
lineup, and I know that Prodigy has a lot of great things in store for the future with
more discs.More models to choose from, the plastic is getting better all the time. I'm
pretty stoked on 2014 season.
This is a disc I just put in my bag, this is the Headdress warrior Fly Life. This is
the slightly more overstable F7 in my bag. This one is just a little bit straighter,
and a little bit more overstable. The other white one has been beat in quite a bit. This
is more of my roller F7 and this is the throw in the air disc.
Now we move on to my very glidy F3. I throw this disc all over the course, it's one of
my favorite discs in the Prodigy line up. I could throw this disc with power grip, with
fan grip but it always remains pretty straight, it doesn't get off the line left, and it doesn't
fade too hard right. I like this on low ceiling tunnel shots, and just power Hyzer flip to
flat, it's been working out well for me lately.
Then I have the more overstable version of the F3. It's got a little wear and tear on
it. Working disc, in my bag and this one slightly overstable F3.
Next in the line is the big brother, which is the F2. I throw this on a lot of shots in Grass Valley because I can
always control it with a little bit of turn out of my hand, or I can just hold it on a
pure hyzer line, and it doesn't seem to get too haywire. Just kind of remains on the line,
and they'll fade left when I want it to.
The more overstable fairway driver is the F1. This is my most overstable fairway driver,
the F1. It's just a pure Hyzer disc, it's an overstable fairway driver and it always
does it job and goes left. It doesn't get an extra skip, but it will remain on Hyzer
the whole time and go left for the right hand back hand player.
Now, I'm moving onto my drivers. I'm going to start of with my most understable one and
keep the pattern going. This is the D3 in the 400 series. This disc is very glidy, you
could throw it on control pinch grips, or power grips. As long as you keep it on a little
Hyzer, keep it flat, it's a very glidy frisbee and it does it's job when I need it to. I'm
a big fan of the D3. I keep at least, three or four D3's in my bag right now.
Looks like I got three, and this one has been in my bag for a long time. It's more of my
understable disc. This one I kind of of have to throw it with a little bit of Hyzer to
keep it flat. Because, it's been worn in quite a bit, my D3 with a blue Fly Life skull on it.
Next is the more overstable D3 which is 400 series, just a brand new one that I've just
been working into the game and this one is my longest flying disc in my bag right now.
Today, I probably threw my longest shots I ever thrown with it, about a 600 foot flat ground
shot right out here at Fly Boy. This one has been working out.
Moving on to my most overstable discs, next is my D1, Yellow D1 with the team stamp.
This one just goes left, you can turn it over hard, and you know it's going to go left and if
you just want to keep it on a long Hyzer, 400 - 450 feet plus, this disc is really controllable
and I've been feeling this one for sure.
I got a couple of more D1's in here, I'll just pull this bulk at the same time, because
I kind of back ups for right now. I got a lot of disc in my bag, in case I play around
water. I always like to keep a full line ups so I feel comfortable throwing in areas where
I could go out of bounds, that's just my style of play though. I like to feel confident in
the shot, and I don't want to take a disc out of my bag because there's water around.
So I keep at least three of the overstable D1s in my bag.
This is one of my favorite Prodigy discs. Been throwing it a lot. It's good for side
arm shots because it's overstable enough where you can really control it, and know what it's
going to do. The D3 is more of the straighter flying driver and the D1 is more overstable
all the time.
Now, I'm moving on to my most favorable disc in my bag right now. This is the D1 and the
400 series, and this is my favorite disc because I got ace on the first day of 2014. About
a 430 foot Hyzer ace out in California. I love this disc. I actually lost it about 3
days after I aced with it. But there's been some really great people out in California
that have been returning my frisbees so this is the Fly Life disc golf, Prodigy D1: my favorite
disc. It's got my eight signatures on the back.
This is my In The Bag with Nikko Locastro, and thank you guys for tuning in.
