Hello. I'm Jennifer Lewis.
I've created this video to let The Bulletproof Executive know why I should be hired as
a junior assistant.
First: Why hire me? I'm in Tacoma, Washington, and I can help.
I have been an independent contractor as a freelance
stenographer
in Washington State and Montana, so I know how to get a job done.
No task is too small or unimportant.
I enjoy being productive, useful,
efficient, all the while continuously learning. And I do thrive heavily on
detail-oriented work.
I was raised on data entry and support work;
more reasons to hire me. Second-generation stenographer
after my father;
strong typist at over 100 words per minute, after my mother,
making me born for data entry. I've helped in the family court reporting business from
a young age.
My first job was copy girl. Back before they had automatic feeders,
I was the automatic feeder. And I was quite proud
of my efficient multiple copies in time with the copier.
Later on I helped my mother in community endeavors;
stuffing envelopes, compiling packets, and sign-waving.
So I understand the importance of support work on multiple levels
and I find fulfillment in it. Three more reasons to hire me:
Health, Serenity, Experimentation.
These are three personal values of mine that I perceive to be in alignment
with Bulletproof values.
Health: Health care begins by me
taking care of my health. It's my responsibility to learn about my body,
how it works, and to implement changes for my betterment;
that's a Bulletproof value.
Serenity: Accepting what I can't change, having courage to change what I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference. I have control over changing myself
for the better,
and that's a Bulletproof value.
Experimentation: Life is trying things to see if they work; Ray Bradbury.
Personal betterment by trying things to see if they work; self-experimentation;
that's a Bulletproof value.
And it's also another reason to hire me, as I have blogged about
my own self-experimentations at
EvePenman-dot-Blogspot-dot-com. It is referenced on Page 2 of my resume,
under Social Media, and I point out the Experiments tab.
When you go to my blog and click on the Experiments tab,
you'll find a collection of articles compiled
just for The Bulletproof Executive, to view at leisure, giving you more insight
into who I am and what I've done. You are welcome to view the entire site.
This one page is merely a small compilation for viewing ease.
This isn't high-level biohacking at all.
And it is unpaid writing that I enjoy for myself
and personal documentations. It also serves as a learning opportunity,
which is yet another reason to hire me,
because I love to learn, whether it's for professional
or personal betterment. I enjoy helping on special projects
and working with others, because these are opportunities to rise to new challenges
and only learn more. The way I see it, learning never ends,
so I know that I still have lots to learn.
Therefore I am not shy to ask questions or for help when I know I need it.
I want to learn from advanced individuals, because learning from them
will help me rise to their levels. Lastly...
why hire me? I've got what it takes. I've survived working with lawyers who can be
unforgiving in their challenges and demands, and the field of law itself is detail-oriented
with varying logistics from day to day,
and sometimes hour to hour. I've learned to have
balance and say No.
I've learned flexibility, as the legal arena
does not run smoothly. I've learned better communication from observing poor
communication,
and this is what I continue to work at. As far as being smart,
kind, fun, and diplomatic, this is how we are trained as the Darlings of the Depo Room.
(A humbled darling.)
I have now worked with corporate lawyers, judges,
doctors, expert and lay witnesses,
a multitude of diverse professionals in various high-stress environments.
I've had a year off to regroup from 10 successful years in the stenography field.
I am now ready for whatever comes next;
new direction and new application of skill-sets is my desire.
I'm ready for long-term growth doing work I believe in,
work that can guide me, and work that will feed my mind,
body, and soul. Therefore, I am ready for The Bulletproof Executive.
Is The Bulletproof Executive ready for me?
Thank you for your time and consideration.
