Now, I’d like to familiarize you with our site and give you a tour of the USA Projects
experience.
* Project page Your project page is a space to present your
proposal, video, donor rewards, and updates about your project. A temperature bar records
your fundraising progress and links below give you insight into the traffic and donation
activity on your page. This page is the primary point of entry for donors supporting your
work and USAP staff will provide a full consultation with feedback on your page before your project
goes live. * Donate page
When an interested supporter clicks “Support This Project” on your temperature bar, they
are led to a donate page where they can easily enter their pledge, select a reward, and supply
their contact info. Through this action, individuals in your extended network become new donors
for your work. Online pledges are conveniently processed through Amazon and we’re soon
adding PayPal for greater donor choice.
Other Key Fundraising Pages:
* Profile page The profile page is a space to present yourself
and your history as an artist. You can upload simple content that informs Projects members
of your background, including: a profile picture, a representative image of your work, your
geographic location, your discipline, biographical info, awards, and links to outside websites.
* Updates Section The updates section is found on your project
page. Adding updates is an essential way to communicate with your supporters and show
project development during your fundraising period. This is a tool both for strategically
timed content delivery and for developing a conversational relationship with your donors.
