Hello, health fanatics (or wannabe health fanatics)! Today we are going to talk about
the superfood nutrition extractor, the Nutribullet. Stay tuned for the advantages and disadvantages
of this product and hopefully by the end of this overview you will know whether or not
the Nutribullet is for you.
What is the Nutribullet?
The Nutribullet is not a juicer or blender, it is an extractor. While juicers can remove
the fiber from fruits and veggies and blenders can leave large chunks behind, an extractor
fully breaks down the fruits and veggies, still keeping all the nutrients.
A nutrient rich, healthy diet can help you ward off disease, look younger, lose weight,
and extend your life. An extractor, like the Nutribullet, can make the consuming of these
nutrients much easier than eating your 4 to 5 servings of fruits and veggies daily.
What is so great about it?
Number 1: It makes things really easy. Eating healthy is great for you and believe it or
not, can be delicious. Who over the age of 10 doesn't like fresh fruits or veggies? Hopefully
no one! By using a product that allows you to consume multiple servings of both without
losing the nutrients, healthy eating will be easier and more enjoyable.
Number 2: There are a wide variety of recipes available to you. Nutribullet.com has six
delicious recipes, including the cholesterol crusher blast and the fountain of youth. But
the majority of your recipes will come in the free Natural Healing Foods Book you receive
with your Nutribullet.
Number 3: It's easier to clean than a traditional blender or juicer. While really easy to clean
by hand, it is also dishwasher safe. Anyone who has ever tried to clean a juicer knows
that cleaning ease is a HUGE perk.
Number 4: It's cheaper than a high quality blender or juicer. If anyone has ever price
checked blenders and juicers, they know that it is not cheap to get your fruits and veggies
in a glass. While not a cheap product, the Nutribullet is cheaper than most quality blenders
and juicers. I'll discuss the price is just a bit.
Number 5: It's smaller and more portable. Blenders and juicers can be large and bulky.
The Nutribullet is very compact and much lighter. This is great for anyone with a lack of kitchen
space or a moderate to heavy travel schedule.
Why isn't it great?
Number 1: It doesn't do everything a traditional blender can do. The Nutribullet can't blend
thick things, like a nut butter, while a blender generally can. In other words, the Nutribullet
wouldn't be your first choice unless you are only aiming to make thinner things, like smoothies
or dressings.
Number 2: Your smoothie can be thin. Nutribullet lists the "chunks" that traditional blenders
leave behind as a con. While I personally don't like chunks, I do prefer the thicker
consistency that a blender leaves as opposed to an extractor.
The product of the Nutribullet is a juice/smoothie hybrid which is too thin for my liking. If
you like a thinner consistency, this may be a pro for you instead of a con. To each their
own.
Number 3: Nutribullet doesn't have fabulous customer service. Those customers who have
had a negative experience with the Nutribullet often reported that something went wrong and
then customer service didn't work to solve the problem quickly. Ain't nobody got time
to fight with customer service!
How much is it?
The Nutribullet costs $119.94 with free shipping. You can also make six easy payments of $19.99
with free shipping. What does that even mean -- easy payments? How would a payment be easy
or difficult? That's just unnecessary wordage, but oh well.
For that $119.94, you will receive an extractor blade, a milling blade, a power base, a tall
cup, a short cup with a handled comfort lip ring, a handled short cup with a comfort lip
ring, two resealable lids, a user guide and recipe book, and a pocket nutritionist.
Now that you know what the Nutribullet is all about, I hope that you can decide for
yourself whether or not it is the best extracting system for you. Please let us know in the
comments if you have ever used the Nutribullet or any other extractor and what you thought
of it. Have a great day!
