At first a man (I don't know who he was) simply recommended that I remove this flag
I turns out that some members of our opposition are quite radical
They think that only white-red-white flag can exist. And those who don't support it should not live at all!
They forget that this is our flag, too, this is our people and our country.
I we divide everyone into white-red-white and red-green, we will never achieve unity in this coutry.
And in some years we will face the same situation as in Ukraine when the and is people country are divided.
This should not happen. What really matters is what you have in you heart.
We should never divide our people.
The flag should not divide people.
I could not force him to remove the flag because he is physically stronger than I and I spoke with him alone.
I understand people who want to accept both flags
But 25 March is another kind of day. It's a blasphemy.
Imagine if I come to a march timed to the anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster and give out nuclear reactors to people.
I noticed a man near the cinema who carried both the red-green (the state one) and the white-red-white flags.
It shocked me because today we celebrate the anniversary of the creation of the Belarusian People's Republic and express solidarity with Ukraine
This day Belarusians, under white-red-white flags, declared their independence [on March 25, 1918]
This man surprised me because those who fought against Belarusians were people under red-green flags, the Bolsheviks.
I approached him and asked to remove the red-green flag.
I told him that this annoys many people who came to the meeting today
This could also result in a fight or something else that would benefit provokers.
We know that if people come to [opposition] meetings with red-green flags they usually are provokers.
So I asked him to remove it or I will call the organizers. He finally removed it.
