This program is dedicated to developing students
into serving the needs of those who need it.
Boy: "What is in there?" Camera Operator: "You're in there! Look!"
Student: "Hi, I'm Kat Cora. I've been in the Tech Center for two years. I work in the Curiosity Corners preschool."
"It's a great environment. Mrs. Price is the best preschool teacher that I've work with so far,
since I've been here."
"To work in there, it really takes a lot of skill. The kids are really energetic.
They're fun. It's fun to be in there."
The classroom is divided into a preschool, a classroom, and a kitchen area which is also part of the preschool.
Sal Wiggin: "The way our class is organized is that we actually have
two different types of days."
"One day is when I'm teaching material and we try to mix it up.
Students eat breakfast.
We have what we call an "Introductory Activity" where I really get their attention
and we focus on the subject of the day."
"I do an introduction,
then we usually do a group activity
of some sort."
"Whether it's a personal survey, whether it's discussion. There is a lot of discussion in my class."
Human Services also extends to helping senior citizens and people with
disabilities.
