Good morning everybody, this is Dr. Matt Kingston with Chiropractic Solutions. This week, we
are going to be talking about proactive versus reactive. Reactive is our most basic response.
Just to relate, when you have a pain in your tooth and you go to the Dentist and he says,
“Your tooth is completely rotten. We have to pull it.” That's reactive. You have a
stimulus, and then you respond. Same thing if you have a pain in your lower back, or
you have headaches all the time, or you have searing pain on your arm. You go to a Chiropractor
because your basic motivation is pain, and the Chiropractor can help you with that. If
you're failing English, it's the same thing. You don't study or do anything, and your response
to that is that you do fail English. Proactivity is a bit different. With proactivity, with
English as an example – you study, you get your homework done, and do what you need to
do and you will do very well in English. With the Dentist, if you go for regular cleaning
and check ups and listen to what your Dentist tells you as far as flossing and brushing,
your teeth aren't going to rot. With Chiropractic as well, a healthy spine is going to function
much better than an unhealthy spine. So, regular Chiropractic visits to take pressure off your
nervous system and to make sure your spine is flexible and healthy is going to give you
the best chances to live without pain and to have a very healthy body. This is Dr. Matt
Kingston with Chiropractic Solutions. Live to your potential!
