bjbj You Can Own for Less Hi, Carrie Guarrero here to share a Carrie s Team Triumph. How
about an extra five grand? Sounds kind of appealing, doesn t it? Well, who wouldn t
want an extra five grand in their pocket every year? I happen to know a new first time homebuyer
who basically got just that. The story I have to share with you is one that truly saddens
me. It brought tears to my eyes as I experienced a client crying last month. And you can read
the whole story and all the scenarios on my blog along with other Carrie s Team Triumphs.
So I have this client in the process of buying her first home. The critical part of the process
is getting pre-approved. So she came in, did get her pre-approval going. She got some documents
in to me. Quite honestly, her approval was a no-brainer from my side of things. So to
my surprise, when I sat down with her and I delivered the news that she was pre-approved,
she got truly choked up and began crying. I was a little taken back and I had to ask
her why the emotional state. And she had actually never applied for a loan because she had been
told that she would never get one to even qualify. Now, had she been told that by another
lender? Nope. This is pure water cooler personal relationship naysaying. And quite honestly,
there was nothing with regard to this client s finances that would have indicated that
she wouldn t qualify for a home and she had put off even applying for years as a result
of this talk, a naysaying. At the end of the day, she is going from paying $1,300 a month
in rent plus her utilities which is very normal for the area she lives in down to paying a
mortgage with everything, taxes, insurance, mortgage insurance, and her actual mortgage
payment to $900 a month. She is saving $400 a month. $400 a month if she saved $200 a
month of that $400 over a 12-month period of time, that s $2,400 a year. I threw out
some examples on my blog of what that could mean over a five-year period of time. The
numbers are actually staggering. And I guess the moral of this Carrie s Team Triumph, the
message that I would love for you to receive is that you should talk to a professional
before you eliminate the possibility of you qualifying for a home. If that s a dream of
yours, then apply. Talk to a professional. Don t take the water cooler wisdom or the
mob s word for your life and let it squash your dreams. Give us a call today and we ll
see if we can get this first for our next chapter started. PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT hLKp
