Good morning team welcome everyone today is the inaugural day, we’re going to be doing
a ribbon-cutting. Let’s go and show them what we have! Let’s bring it in, and on
the count of three: one, two, three Team Chase! It’s our grand opening in the city of Van
Nuys, so it’s a great day, putting the Chase name out there and letting our customers know
we’re here to help. We’re providing thirteen more stable jobs, so it’s an amazing investment
that we’re putting back into the community .
Looking around this facility one of the things that I love about it is that there’s so
many desks, there’s places to sit down and talk to people about actual financial services
which is really critical. If you’d seen this building before it was this bank you’d
appreciate how great of an addition and improvement this is.
This intersection here is a passageway for over 100,000 cars a day. That’s larger than
most cities – this is like in itself right here in this neighborhood.
This is one of my financial advisors.
It’s very important to have a branch in Van Nuys, in our communities. There is a high
concentration of lower income individuals.
There’s so many check-cashing places around here, and folks don’t know any better and
they go and cash their checks, and we’re showing the community that they can save money
and actually build a financial relationship
This is a huge community of small to medium sized businesses, we work with Chase to try
to help those companies find the lending that they need for expansion, growth, creates jobs,
creates prosperity for the area, and Chase is a major part of that.
We have bankers that are bilingual. We have Spanish, we have Arabic, Farsi. This office
here, it means a lot to me. I personally grew up here in the city of Van Nuys. This is Gabrielle,
she’s a Spanish-speaker
The people that live in this community feel like they can pop in regularly and get to
know us, so even though we’re a big bank, they feel when they come in here that it’s
a family community like the old time banking when you used bankers and everyone knew who
you were when you walked in.
Seeing customers who barely knew what a checking account was to where they’re able to get
a mortgage loan, buy a house, do an investment, even get a business, I feel great because
I know that I get to support a community.
The Van Nuys family bring it in. Congratulations
“To work for Chase means to work at a place that really cares about their customers. It
feels like we offer them help, you know, solutions to their daily life.
