Can baking soda cure cancer?
What are the possible mechanism?
Maybe there are some other better options to treat cancer
and to eliminate tumors.
In order to answer these questions,
we can consider the experience of Italian Doctor Simoncini,
who accumulated impressive results in relation to cancer
using baking soda.
What does he do?
He takes a solution of baking soda and slowly injects it
into the artery leading to the tumor.
So, what would be the possible mechanism of baking soda,
how it can influence the tumor?
Or, when the person gets increased concentration of baking
soda in the blood stream, what would be the possible effect?
Baking soda has a very simple chemical composition:
it has sodium, hydrogen ions and also CO3 ions.
When this solution is injected in the bloodstream,
of course, there is an increase in CO2 concentration.
Sodium should not influence much fundamental parameters in the human body,
but CO3, or carbon dioxide, when it is dissolved in blood,
has a profound affect on two parameters.
First of all, CO2 is a very powerful vasodilator:
it dilates blood vessels. And therefore, when CO2 in the blood
gets higher, blood vessels dilate and this provides better perfusion
(or blood flow) of all vital organs in the human body.
So, when Dr. Simoncini injects baking soda into the artery leading
to the cancer tumor, it immediately dilates arteries and arterioles
providing better blood supply in relation to the tumor.
Now there is another effect which is called Bohr effect.
Bohr effect explains how and why red blood cells or
hemoglobin cells release oxygen in tissues in capillaries.
So the mechanism is follolling: tissues have higher concentration of CO2,
and when CO2 raises, its easier for red blood cells to release
oxygen in tissues, because CO2 is a chemical catalyzer of this release of oxygen.
Therefore, there are two independent mechanisms which provide
cancer tumors with more oxygen. So, when Dr. Simoncini injects
baking soda it produces two effects. First of all,
blood vessels are dilated, and, second, oxygen is released
much easier inside the cancer tumors.
And when this process is going on for many hours,
obviously it produces a positive effect on oxygenation of the tumors.
Of course, CO2 is a gas that we exhale. Medical studies found
people with cancer breathe more than the norm.
In one study, they found that the minute ventilation rates
in cancer patients were about twice more than in healthy people.
Now several other studies found respiratory frequency
or breathing rate in cancer patients was much higher,
up to 25-30 or more breaths in 1 minute at rest in people with cancer.
Therefore, it's obvious that when people with cancer
breathe so heavily, they have reduced CO2 level in the bloodstream,
and that constricts blood vessel causes spasm of the blood vessels
and reduces oxygenation of all vital organs. Because there are
independent studies that found that hyperventilation (this is
how doctors call this effect: when we breathe more than the norm)
causes reduced perfusion and reduced oxygenation of the
brain, heart, kidneys, liver and all other vital organs of the human body.
Therefore, there is another solution, another option to baking soda treatment.
We can achieve the same result using slowing down
our breathing or using breathing retraining. Furthermore,
the breathing retraining idea and these ideas about oxygen
help us to understand the effect of lifestyle factors.
Because a patient can do baking soda treatment protocol,
using either injection or just ingesting baking soda,
there are also protocols like this which can be found online these days,
but, if this patient, for example, sleeps on the back at night,
or breathes through the mouth at night, that produces a negative effect
on oxygenation. Because breathing becomes heavy, due to supine sleep
or due to mouth breathing, and in both situations that person gets
much less oxygen in body cells. There are also many other
lifestyle factors that produce a similar negative effect on
oxygenation of the human body. For example, when we overeat,
we eat too much, or when we overheated,
or when we have not correct posture, or we use chest for breathing,
this is exactly the case with most cancer patients,
because they are chest breathers, and that drastically reduces
oxygenation of the arterial blood. Therefore, it's wise to explore
another option which relates to correct breathing 24 hours per day
because I am talking about automatic or unconscious breathing pattern.
In addition, there is a very successful clinical trial done in Ukraine
and published in Ukrainian Oncology magazine about breathing
retraining technique and a clinical trial on metastasized cancer patients.
