Nerdlings, What's up! It's Kenny Wesley, Soulful Nerd(tm) here sayin' "hi" and I wanted to
share my experience being bullied. It occured from elementary
school all the way through high school. And, what I can say is that it definitely negatively
affected my self esteem because I'm very sensitive by nature (I think most artists
are kind of senstive people). But, after a while I started to believe the things that they said
which is very sad because nobody defines you. No adjective can define you. You're
just a being. You're created. God created all of us. And I finally realized that probably
about like 10th or 11th grade in high school. And I further embraced my uniqueness.
Which was, to be honest, why I feel like I was singled out - because I never wanted to really fit
in with the pack. So, if you're being bullied, have been bullied, or know someone who is
being bullied currently: watch this video. I share 5 steps on how to bully-proof your life.
Enjoy.
...if the dweebs have any. You can gather valuable information on how they operate and, most importantly,
what makes them tick. This will prove invaluable down the road.
Once you know their weakness, embarass them.
If you have something of value you know they really need, withold it unless an agreement
can be met.
In the event you become friends with someone who bullies others, convince that fool to stop bullyin'
and put the brakes on your friendship if they insist on continuing with such behavior.
Encourage and build alliances with other kids who get bullied. There's power in numbers.
So, long story short, I personally think that people get bullied because they're unique.
Because they're different. They dare to separate themselves from the pack. So, with that being
said, make friends with other people who are unique and dare to be different. There's power
in numbers. I feel with all of heart that we're all worth more than a freakin' laugh.
You're nerdlings... ROCK ON! Yea!
