So, It's time to break it down for monolid eyes. We've created these custom looks for
each shape to show you how to get the most out of your gorgeous eyes with our new amazing
Full Exposure Palette. There's a look for day, one for night, and a defined look for
each shape. For today I'm going to show you how to create a nightlook which is really
the most dramatic of all three looks. You monolid girls are so lucky. I love working
with you because you have so much lid space to play with so you can totally have fun with
all sorts of looks, from pops of color to dramatic winged liner.
But, the key to enhancing your shape is creating defintion and dimension to bring out your
eyes even more and thats what we're going to do right now. I've already prepped my model
with 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer. This is the latest new lid primer and it's
amazing. Be sure to keep an eye out for it, it really does lock on color for a full 24
hours. What we're going to do right now is something called the gradient method where
you do a light shade across the brow bone, a medium in the middle across the entire lid,
and the darkest shade closest to the lash line. This is the ultimate way to create gorgeous
definition for monolid eyes. First, sweep a light matte shade across your brow bone.
Light shades across your brow bone are always great for monolid eyes to create the effect
of extra dimension. Really you can use any of the light matte shades but for this particular
look I used M4. Then, to maximize a large lid space, apply a medium shimmer shade to
the entire lid. I'm using S3. So, I'm just dabbing the color
on. The thing about shimmer is that you want to build it slowly. So, I'm just dabbing it
right onto your eyelid. Not really sweeping it, I'm just building the color. Finally,
line your upper lash line and diffuse upwards to create definition with a dark shade like
M7. This is the ultimate way to create gorgeous
definition for monolid eyes. Finish the eyes with two coats of Full Exposure mascara. Don't
forget to give a little love to those outer lashes. This will really open up your shape
for a perfect wide eyed look. Finish the look with a bit of Halo Long Wear
blush in Warm Glow and a swipe of Be Legendary lipstick in Primrose. This look is all about
enhancing your eye shape so you really want to keep your lips and your cheeks more neutral.
So, you've got this gorgeous look that you can wear anytime, anywhere, but maybe sometimes
you want to mix it up a little bit. Right? You like change. You like options, We're women.
Enter Always Sharp eyeliners. It's so easy to change up this look with just a little
eyeliner. I'm gonna take our Raven Always Sharp which is a rich black and we're going
to create the perfect wing for the monolid. A dramatic wing is always great for monolids
because it creates that bit of emphasis for added definition.
And if you want to get really fun you can even try creating this wing with different
colors. Again, you have so much lid space so you can think of the monolid as your playground.
So I love how just a small amount of eyeliner can really change up and really give a look
just a little bit more umph. If you found this video, hopefully by now
you should know what your eye shape is and why it's so important to apply makeup based
