What are you preparing today? Batata Puri.
Ingredients required to prepare Batata Puri :
Crispy Batata Puri, Potato, Raisins, Almonds
Sev, Coriander leaves, Grated Carrot, Khatta-Meeta Sauce
Oil, Carom seeds, All purpose flour(Maida).
Add Salt to All purpose flour (Maida).
Add Carom seeds.
Add water to prepare a soft dough.
Add Oil to make the dough smoother & non-sticky. Note : Soak this dough for 1 hour.
Heat Oil in a pan for deep frying.
Make small balls of this dough.
Flatten it on your palms & dip in all purpose flour.
Flatten these balls with a rolling pin.
Poke these flattened dough. Note : This makes the Puri crispy.
Fry them in Oil till brown.
Drain the excess Oil & shift to a plate.
Mash cooked Potatoes. Add Salt & Red Chilli powder to taste & mix well.
Place these on the Puri.
Sprinkle Raisins, Almonds, Cashew Nuts & Pistachio to enhance taste.
Add 1-2 tsp Khatta Meeta Sauce.
Sprinkle finely chopped Onions.
Sprinkle grated Carrot.
Sprinkle Coriander leaves.
Garnish with Sev.
