This is Robert Stewart for hill13.com. The next game we are going to talk about is Gettysburg.
What Gettysburg does is it simulates a single-action, single-fired weapon and the rules basically
work this way. You have two teams of equal size, game duration is twenty minutes, the
flags are still in play, it is general rules apply like capture the flag, but the big difference
is you can carry as many paintballs as you wish in the bag. You can carry no hoppers,
no additional loaders, no bulk loaders. This means that you can only put one paintball
from that bag into your weapon and fire it before you can reload it. As I said, all of
the general rules apply, but what this does is it turns everybody in the field into a
musket-bearing soldier, and the game play, in many respects, slows down and it really
does become a question of accuracy and patience, because you do not have but one shot and you
have to reload after every shot.
