This is a review of the Sony Cybershot DSC-TX5 waterproof digital camera. It features 10.2
megapixels and is extremely compact in size. Rather than go through all the technical specifications,
it's really better to show you what this camera can do. To turn it on, just slide the front
cover down. And in this review we're going to use a lot of water to demonstrate how great
this camera works. It's waterproof down to 3 meters or 10 feet and can shoot 720p HD
video. When the camera is underwater, you can hear that the microphone also works as
well. This camera is great to take to the waterpark, boating or other water-filled activities.
The lens is specially coated and water drops slide right off the lens. Most of the functions
on the camera are accessed through the three-inch touchscreen. The interface is clunkier than
on a mobile phone or tablet with but it definitely does the job. The touchscreen even works underwater
as you can see you can quickly preview your pictures underwater or access any of the other
functions. Here's the demonstration again at night so you can see the screen a little
bit better. This camera has actually been through a wash cycle in the washer and still
works! The Sony Cybershot DSC-TX5 is the perfect digital camera for vacationing or any activity
where water might be involved!
