So today, I've got a really cool, different hairstyle for you.
It's using a snake braid, which I absolutely love.
It's so different.
You'll be sure to get a lot of comments on it.
So you're just gonna need a few things-- some small hair elastics,
matching the hair color, or I'm using black ones today.
I've got some bright pink ones that should look really cool.
Um, just a comb just to kind of brush through the hair,
make it a bit sleeker.
Also you could do a bit of back combing, teasing with it.
And then if you want to, just to finish it off
with some hairspray to make sure it holds.
So this is Bed Head Tigi Masterpiece. I love this hairspray.
I'm gonna start off by taking a front section of hair.
I'm just gonna use my finger-- you could use a rat tail comb--
just to divide the front section...
like, above your ear.
Like this, and then I'm just gonna split it into three.
And then when you have your three sections,
we're just gonna braid it like you would a normal three strand braid.
But you want to do this really loosely.
Because it just makes it a lot easier to create the snake pattern
at the end if you've done it nice and loose to start off with.
So just loosely braiding...
all the way down the hair.
So when you get to the bottom of the hair,
you're gonna hold onto the middle section with one hand,
and then with the other two sections, you're gonna push these up
that middle strand like this.
And then I just want to smooth that middle section out.
And then now we're gonna slowly bring these two sections down the hair,
back again but not all the way down,
just until you can see this kind of snake zigzag pattern emerging.
So just using your fingers to position them,
And then when you've got the braid how you like it,
you're just gonna take an elastic and just tie it off.
Like that, and now I'm just gonna repeat
exactly the same on the other side, so...
Gonna take them,
and then just using another hair elastic,
I'm just gonna tie them at the back.
Like so.
So just taking another small hair elastic,
I'm just gonna tie those two braids together.
And then I'm gonna take the little hair elastics out
that we put in before just to neaten up the ends.
And then make the ends go together.
So there you have it, guys. I absolutely love the snake braid.
It adds so much more interest than just doing a regular three strand braid.
But if you can do a three strand braid, you're definitely gonna be able to do this.
It's only one little step further.
So let me know if you try this out, and send me any photos if you like.
