Hi, I'm Danny Page and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. In this series, I'm going
to teach you how to draw basic cartoon characters. Alright, so you're done with the character.
You've finished drawing him. You've gone through every little step necessary and you started
out with the, obviously with the pencil and drawing in the foundations that you went over
later with your pen to fill out and make final. What I'm going to do now is we're going to
show you, I'm going to show you how you might just go at drawing this completely free hand
without going back and testing your ideas and stuff. Basically, starting with a blank
page and going at it from scratch and letting your pen just kind of do the rest for you.
Obviously, you make a few variations here. Maybe give him a bit of a different look.
Just kind of let your hand fly. Don't necessarily think this is half the fun in becoming good
at drawing these little cartoon characters. Just letting whatever happens, happens. You've
already got the character down. He's down on paper. You've crafted him from scratch.
You know how he's suppose to end up looking and you know kind of what you want to do.
But now, feel free to just kind of experiment and let whatever happen, happen. Don't be
intimidated, I guess, by the black page. It's easy as that. Oh, I think this guys missing
a little something here. There, that's a pretty good look, don't ya think.
