Hi I'm Jessica Meiczinger with Simply Divine Events and I've been planning weddings for
over a decade now and want to just give you some ideas on how to incorporate Asian traditions
in your wedding ceremony. One of my favorites is having the bride and groom stand under
an umbrella. It's actually a Chinese, the umbrella is actually a Chinese symbol for,
to honor and protect the bride and groom as they start their life together. Basically
it's kind of the same thing as your Jewish ceremonies, Hopa. Another option is if you
want to be very traditional, you can have the tea ceremony where you honor the groom's
parents and the elders and you can do something like that to incorporate the Asian theme into
your ceremony, your traditions. Or there's, you can just do your basic traditions, your
Western traditions such as the unity candle and or the sun ceremony or the rose ceremony.
So these are just some ideas on how to incorporate the Asian traditions into your wedding ceremony.
