This experiment will show what happens to the stability when the distance between the
center of gravity G and center of buoyancy force increases. At first, we put our load
at the bottom of the boat so G will be under C that gives a very stable condition. And
as you see, it returns to its normal position fast and quickly. and if we increase the length
of the rode, the distance between G and C will
relatively increases. As you see, it returns to its normal position slowly that indicates
the stability starts to decrease. When the length increases more, the boat here will
be in danger it returns very very slowly. Until we reach the limit that the meta section point match
the center of gravity G, so the boat will be about to sink for any increase of length
as you can see it.
