Hey guys and gals!
Jaystepher with Lego City.
Fire Emergency.
Set number 60003,
contains 300 pieces,
and is recommended for ages 5 through 12.
So it appears we get to make an awesome fire truck.
A building of some sort that is on fire.
We even get two minifigures,
and it is "Modular Build Easy Start".
Here is the various actions,
and yes so it appears we have three numbered bags
to build the fire truck
and the structure.
Let's just see if these bags are numbered.
Here we go!
Oh, a nice 8 by 16 plate.
Indeed the bags are numbered, and this is number "2".
One folded instruction manual.
That is number "2".
Looks like we get not one but two fire hoses.
Another instruction manual.
Bag number "1" with various elements.
And finally we have bag "3".
Oh there's something else in the box. Let's see what it is.
Oh, so we get stickers.
Well those just have to go somewhere.
Looks like we get a very good assortment of parts.
So let me get building!
The Fire Emergency is all assembled.
I will be covering the three firefighters,
tools,
structure,
and fire truck.
Let's start off with the fire fighters.
Let's have a look at this gentleman.
Nice print work.
It is reflective.
The print work continues to the back.
He's even wearing gloves.
Looks like he needs to shave.
Let's take a look at this lady.
Looks like she's having a great day.
The print work on her is reflective as well.
Same design as the gentleman.
She's even wearing the hardhat.
Finally let's take a look at this gentleman.
Print work on his outfit is reflective as well.
He's wearing a visor with a breathing apparatus
with oxygen.
And that can be removed.
We do get three accessories.
A fire extinguisher,
a hand circular saw,
and an axe.
Moving on to the structure.
It appears that it's abandoned
with the boards on the door and windows.
These can be removed.
Just simple smooth tiles,
and they can be easily replaced.
So all three can be removed.
You even get a trash can.
Nice street light.
The inside is fully playable.
Even have a broom in a barrow.
I like the structure of the roof.
Especially in this area where it looks like it has been burned.
If you rotate this gear,
we can bring the flames back
to give it the appearance that they have been extinguished.
And you rotate it clockwise
to put the flames in the upright position.
Flames are transparent and they are two-toned.
You got dark red at the bottom,
and of course orange at the top.
Top of the roof can be removed
for extra access.
It's a great little structure
even though it's on fire.
Finally we have the fire truck.
I like the grab bar and step-side.
Here's our fire extinguisher.
Great front end.
We got a hose reel
with a hose spraying water.
That is a transparent blue flame piece.
Great idea.
Here's the rear of the rig.
Take a look at the ladder.
It is very sound.
I like the hydraulics.
It is stiff and functions well.
The ladder can be rotated a full 360 degrees,
and it can be extended out
to reach upper floors.
This rig can seat up to three minifigures.
Open up the ladder.
and take off the top of the cab to gain access.
It appears that the interior can seat two minifigures side-by-side.
However only one can be seated in the cab.
So we'll take the misses and set her down in here like so.
The top can be easily replaced.
We'll take the gentleman with the breathing apparatus.
We'll have him take a seat here in the rear.
And the last gentleman,
let's have him grab a hold of the grab bar.
Now they are ready to head
to their next destination to fight a fire.
It does glide well on a smooth surface.
This is one solid built fire truck.
Here are the spare pieces after assembling the Fire Emergency.
Let's have a look at the stickers.
I choose not to put the stickers on my brick
because I will be recycling the elements.
Here's the license plate. It does have the set number printed on.
Here some stickers as well for the
boards the go on the front of the structure,
and a few other accessories.
We do also get extra hose,
visor,
tiles,
some slopes,
and a few Technic pieces.
These pieces will be great for other Lego creations.
This wraps up the review for
Fire Emergency by Lego City.
Set number 60003.
Contains 300 pieces.
Recommended for ages 5 through 12.
For this being a small set,
it is built well.
My favorite is the fire truck.
It is built sound. Very solid.
I like the structure with the retractable flames.
This would be great in any Lego City
or as an addition to a Lego fire department.
Thank you for watching!
