On your home page the all circles stream is made up of posts from each of your circles.
It is possible to control how much content from each circle is displayed in your all
circles stream. This can be done by selecting a circle and a slider will appear next to
the settings cog. This slider has four settings
“Show nothing” from this stream “Show fewer things” from this stream
“Show most things” from this stream and “Show everything” from this stream
You can do a similar thing in the “Explore” tab to control how many items from “What’s
hot on Google+” appear in your all circles stream. You may need to reload your Google+
page before these changes take effect.
This feature is very useful if you want to reduce the number of posts you see from a
particular circle so it doesn’t drown out other important posts. Simply create a circle
for these people and move them into it then set the filter to “Show fewer things”.
If there are still too many posts, set it to “show nothing”.
Filtering your all circles stream allows you to create the ideal balance of posts for general reading.
You can still see all posts from a circle by selecting the circle on your home page.
