Individual braids are braids that come off the scalp from very small sections.
They are not cornrows which are applied directly to the scalp.
Let's take a look at one method for doing individual braids.
Take your extension hair and wrap it around your natural hair section.
Hold one off to the side,
take your extension hair and twist it over.
Grab the extension hair with your other hand and wrap it around.
And this creates your three sections to begin your braid.
After a few turns, you can simply take your extension hair and slide it up into place.
Be very careful because you can really put too much tension in that one area.
Split the natural hair into two, the extension hair into two
on one side.
And continue your braid.
Be careful with your natural ends, you are going to want to apply some Ice Spiker or some other bonding agent.
We are just going to use some cheap hairspray.
I would recommend using something with a little bit more hold.
Continue braiding and make sure you braid past those natural ends.
Once you get past those natural ends, you can pick up the speed a little bit more.
Continue braiding until you have achieved your desired style.
