Hi Guys, mechanical keyboards currently experienced a rebirth.
And Logitech bring now with the G710 + also a mechanical keyboard on the market.
We have the keyboard inthe U.S. version, which has not let us dissuade to make a test.
What the keyboard can do and whether a purchase is worthwhile you see now.
The scope of supply are of course the keyboard and palm rest.
There are also the setup guide and a booklet with important information.
The Logitech Gaming Software is not included, but is easily downloaded from the Logitech site,
and also not mandatory for using the G710 + necessary,
as long as you not want to program the G-Keys and do not use the mode buttons.
At first glance, the Logitech G710 + looks similiar to the popular non-mechanical keyboard G110,
but their shape is a little bit different to other Logitech gaming keyboards.
Thus the left and right sides are bevelled
carry the G710 + lettering and centered between keys
and the palm rest is adorned with a Logitech logo in brushed aluminum, the key board.
For larger hands, the rough surface produced palm rest is a bit too small.
This can of course also decrease.
Overall, the G710 + measures 51cm in length, 22cm in width
and 3.8 cm in the whole height.
She is so much higher than other non-mechanical key boards and also felt a lot heavier.
This is mainly due to the diversity of material mechanical switch and is not a downer.
The standard buttons, which are found on every keyboard,
and G keys are highlighted by a pedestal and glossy lacquers from the actual keys board.
Top right is the volume control, a partially serrated rubberized and stepless roller wheel,
a mute button, and the status LEDs.
The four mode buttons, the button to disable the Windows key,
the two lighting keys and multimedia keys sit above the F-keys on the key board and directly.
All buttons except the mode buttons, the G710 + are illuminated white,
and can be controlled via the lighting keys four stages in their brightness or turned off.
It controls the left of the two buttons again light grayish remote WASD and arrow keys;
the right button the rest of the keyboard. except the orange or red illuminated mode buttons.
On the keys M1 to M3, its possible to plece different profiles for the G keys.
With the MR key allows macros, for example to record directly in games without having to open any software.
After pressing the MR key is lit in red
and after selecting a G-button starts the MR key to blink, as you know it from a camera.
Now, the macro can be typed.
After repeated pressing the MR-button, hear these flashing and the macro is stored on the respective G key.
On the rear side including the relatively thick wire is led out to be connected to the computer.
This has at the other end two USB ports,
to devices that are connected through the USB 2.0 port, which is also found on the back of the keyboard,
to supply enough power.
Given the price we would have a USB 3.0 port as well as the non-existent 3.5 mm audio jacks
for connecting a headset without a built-in sound card can expect to.
