Hello, I’m Charlie, and I’d like to show you a fantastic device for Low Vision People like me – It’s the RUBY Handheld Video Magnifier from Freedom Scientific.
I just place it on my reading material and adjust magnification and contrast for the most comfortable reading.
I use it to read menus, the yellow pages, the newspaper,...anything.
By just flipping out the handle I can hold it up to read product labels, appliance controls, almost anything I come across.
The rechargeable batteries are in the handle for comfortable balance, and I get over 2 hours of continuous use.
The RUBY will also run on Disposable Alkaline Batteries.
The Freeze Frame feature lets me capture what I need to read and even zoom in to be absolutely sure.
The RUBY’s focus stays nice and crisp, even when I’m several inches off the paper.
The RUBY comes with a protective carrying case, so I can take with me wherever I go.
And that’s what I do, because I’ve discovered that my RUBY helps me in hundreds of situations every single day.
