There is a lot of attention being paid these days
to the issue of wireless devices
and what happens where they’re stolen.
The one thing you can really do to protect yourself
is to use those passwords on the smartphones.
All of them have them,
and quite often we don’t set them and it’s a great line of defense.
In case someone does get your smartphone that you don’t
want to have and have the opportunity to use it.
So here’s how you would do it on an android model. I’ll show you.
Just hit the application button on the lower left screen.
Scroll up to settings, it’s in alphabetical order there.
Hit settings. It’s just as simple as that.
Come down here to the security line and tap security.
You’ll go to set up screen lock.
And then once I do that, I'm going to get a button
that will allow me to set my pin number.
I’ll just tap 2-1. Oops.
I almost told you what my pin number was going to be.
I don’t want to do that.
I’ll continue. Confirm that pin. Don’t peak.
And boom, it’s as simple as that.
I’ve now set my pin number on my android device and this will shut off.
Nobody else can use it but me, because I’m the only one who knows my pin number.
It’s that simple.
