Getting to know the People Recognition feature.
PaintShop Pro can help you automatically find, group and name people in multiple photos.
You can tag people manually,
so you can tag other parts of a photo too.
You can import your Facebook and Flickr friends lists...
and link any tagged photo to someone on a list.
When you post your photos online...
your friends are notified automatically,
no need to tag people twice!
Let's start by tagging a photo manually.
Choose a photo and in the Info palette...
select the People tab.
Click the Tag Person button.
You can redraw, move and resize the square.
Click "Who is this?"
Enter a name.
You can also link to Facebook and Flickr here,
to notify friends when you upload a photo.
Click Save or hit Enter to place your tag.
Let's tag one more person.
Here, I can choose from any previous tags, or create a new person.
Both names are now added to the Navigation panel's People list.
Tagged photos are shown in the Organizer.
Now let's try PaintShop Pro's People Finding feature.
Choose a folder of multiple photos of people.
Click the Find People button in the Organizer.
Don't forget to utilize the Getting Started window.
The results are shown in the Organizer.
Now we need to identify these people.
Go to Thumbnail mode.
Enter a person's name and hit Enter to identify an entire group.
As before, each name is added to the Navigation panel.
The rest of the photos don't have a clear match.
Luckily, these can be identified too.
Right-click any photo...
and choose "Move to New Person".
You can also select multiple photos and do the same thing.
Choose Ignore Person, to remove any photos you don't want to tag.
Click View Full Image to see the entire images again.
This icon and your social site icons can also be accessed in Preview mode.
After everyone is identified, all of them are again accessible in the Navigation palette.
After tagging and linking your photos,
you can now share your photos online.
In PaintShop Pro. it's now easy to identify, organize and share photos of your friends and family.
