The upper case R. Now we are going back to our regular writing style. So no more twisting.
I promise. Here's the R first stroke. Exactly like the lower case L. Now the bowl. Kind
of close to the shape of the bowl for P. And then a leg. Now in making letters that have,
what I would call compound letters. So they have compound strokes. Sometimes we start
to lose slant. So, I can see that I am starting to lose my slant a little bit. So sometimes
it is good to interject sort of a neutral letter. In this case, the I in there, letter
with a slant. So some things to think about for the R besides the slant, is we have a
bowl that might be constructed in two strokes. One, two. And a leg that starts about where
the bowl gets thin. You are going to pull that leg out and we are going to exit that
stroke up a little bit. So we were are going just a little bit past; you can see we are
going just a little bit past the bowl. So this way and then this way. So, yes the R
is a complicated letter but doable.
