There is no reason, in today's world that
anybody should be processing paper transcripts. Period.
And anybody that's looking, come to the PESC community, we'll introduce you to
everybody and support you through that transition. Now it can be daunting
because you're talking about resources, you're talking
about jobs, but these don't replace jobs
they change the jobs that you're doing, and I think once the human fear
calms down, you realize that it's a good thing all around. Even for the people that are going to be
doing the same job but an electronic version, they're going to be happier, they're going to know
and understand that they're helping the corporate bottom line. Because what they're doing
is no longer a burden or a drag, but actually moving that organization to modern
processing. Transcript data is rich with all the student information and
the analytics that are available there, can tell you a variety of things, it's not just
I sent the transcript, now I can apply to college, it's all
of the student's interests how well they did in school, and all of
that data that is available and can be
predictive, and you can build products and services on that, but also
it can help policy-makers understand, what interests are students having and
does that match with what the labor and workforce market thinks are the jobs of tomorrow?
Are we doing this, or are we actually matching?
And how do you know if you're matching what the workforce needs, if you're not
looking at what students interests are in college, and that comes from the transcript.
