We would certainly recommend Media Lightbox to other companies, in fact, we’ve already
done that and we’ve got Media Lightbox already installed as part of our own communication
systems for our office in New York.
My name’s Stephen Kelly and I’m Managing Director
of Spirit Marketing Group. We’re a leading international marketing communications specialist,
working with clients across the U.K. and Ireland, and indeed, the United States. We specialise
particularly in areas of retail, leisure and regeneration. We use Media Lightbox in order
to ensure that our staff and our variety of offices are able to communicate with each
other in a really straightforward and easy way. We needed Media Lightbox because we’re
dealing with a lot of heavy, creative, video and audio and visual art and we need to access,
not just in local offices, but we need to share within our business, the best and most
recent parts of the work that we’ve done for clients so that, whether you’re working
in our office in New York or in our office in Cork, you have an opportunity
to understand that the latest pieces of work that we’re doing, which is industry leading
and is creating real benefit for our clients. Prior to Media Lightbox we were using a mish-mash
of different online programs and our own servers and that was becoming really cumbersome.
It didn’t look great. We’re in the communications business and the fact that Media Lightbox
is branded with our own identity, we’ve access to all our staff and we can send links
and access to files for clients means that the way that we actually communicate with
our clients is much more professional and it also means that we’ve one simple, easy-to-use,
online platform to use on which we can store and share documents. The system was really
straightforward for us to integrate in our business. We use a variety of platforms, whether
those be PC or indeed Apple Mac, and the fact this doesn’t have any software, it’s all
completely online means that our colleagues are able to begin using it from day one, means
that we don’t need to upgrade our equipment and it means that our staff don’t need to
have time down in terms of installing software. So in-terms of integration it’s a really
straight-forward online platform, that’s making a big difference to our business.
Our staff and clients find the system really straightforward. We’re able to use this not just for existing
clients but also share it, in terms of potential pitches that we’re sending to clients.
No-one has come back and said that there is any difficulty with it; it’s really straightforward, simple
steps, simple links and the clients love it. My favourite feature I suppose of the system
is just its simple, straightforward ease of use. The system couldn’t be simpler, either
for existing or new staff but also for clients, whether those are old or new as well.
The system really doesn’t have any real moving parts, it’s really straightforward and it’s
simple in an orderly way in which people can communicate right across our business.
