Hello everyone! Today look who's here! This is my husband. Hello! I talk about him all
the time but it's the first time he's actually showing himself on camera. Today we're going
to do a henna challenge. We're going to dye our hair. Well, he's going to dye his roots,
and, when we bought the henna, I didn't tell him that I was going to dye his roots. I just
said it was going to prevent grey roots. You're a liar! He's quite scared but we'll see what
happens. I'm not really going to change my hair colour but I might get some golden highlights
in my hair, so let's see if that happens. But in any case, I'm doing neutral henna,
which is supposed to strengthen my hair, make it more shiny, thicker, so let's see how that
goes. Also mine? Yes, yours as well. OK, let's go for it! So, for myself I'm going to be
using the neutral henna or Cassia Obovata, which doesn't have any colour or might have
some golden highlights but shouldn't really change my colour dramaticaly. And for my husband
instead we're going to use real henna, and this is in dark chestnut brown, and let's
see if it manages to cover his grey roots. So first of all we have to mix them with water
and some oil, so let's what we'll do now. So we'll put it in a bowl. I'm going to add
some hot water until it forms a paste. So my mum uses henna all the time and she told
me that it's better to keep it more liquid because then it's easier to apply it and to
wash it off, so that's what I'm going to try to do. Ok, that's done! Yogurt...Yogurt, yes...We
decided it smells like spinach. let's see what the other one is going to smell like.
It might smell like what? What do you think? What is it going to smell like? Chestnuts
obviously. it's exactly the same colour, although it looks kind of lighter. So the henna mixture
is now ready and once they cool down enough we're going to go and apply them. OK, next
step: I'm going to wet my hair and then apply the henna. And the cat wants to take a shower
with me! Ok, now the fun part! Sirena, Sirena!I think I'm almost done. What's up, Sirena?
Do I look like a green monster? Sirena, do I??? Do I? Do I look like a monster? Do I
say? What do you say? Did you record her? Yes! Sirena! What's going on? What is your
mommy doing? What's she doing? Look! What's that? It's to make sure it doesn't move because
otherwise I'll be all dirty after a while. OK, so now it's my hubby's turn! He's just
putting on the gloves. How do you feel? Are you scared? No, I'm not. OK, let's see. I'm
all full of this mud. Put more! Man, that's a torture! It smells of asparagus. It smells
of what? Asparagus? Yes! It was spinach, now it's asparagus. It doesn't smell of spinach.
Do you know that you're really cute? So here we are. I can't do anything, then you say
that it's not possible. You're so cute! I can't hug you or something... He's complaining
because he can't even put his glasses on because of his beautiful turban. So now we're going
to stay like this for two hours. I think we'll just go and make dinner and eat it. Then we'll
come back, rinse it out and we'll see what happens. And we'll let you know! So I washed
off my hair and, to be honest, I thought it would be much more difficult to wash it off.
but it wasn't that difficult at all. I just used my soapnuts to wash it off, and I absolutely
love them. They're brilliant! But that's a topic for another video. The first thing I
noticed when I was washing my hair off was that it was really soft, and now that it's
washed, it doesn't feel softer than usual. But I definitely noticed that it's much shinier
and I think I can see some golden streaks. I don't know, what do you think? It's hard
to tell because it's still wet obviously but tomorrow morning we'll see the final result.
So that's what it looks like, and I guess I'll see you tomorrow because it's quite late
now. It's almost midnight, so it won't dry until tomorrow morning, so that's when I'll
show you the end result. I'll see you then! So we're back for a final update. So what
do you think? Did you like the experience? Surely! I think I'd gladly do it again. Oh
really? Noooo. I'd definitely try it again but I'll do one thing differently. I'd be
very careful adding oil. It was way too much. It took me three days to wash off all the
oil from my hair. So this is actually the third day, and I'd definitely try to use maybe,
I don't know, a pea-size amount of oil, no more than that because it's pretty much impossible.
I like the way my colour came out, it's just slightly more golden. it is golden! Yes, slightly
more golden, so I'm pleased. And for my husband, it turned his grey hairs blonde actually but
it's still better than grey. Maybe it's not blonde, maybe it's just light brown, but it's
OK. We just got the wrong colour, so we can't really blame the henna. So I guess that's
it! I hope you've enjoyed this video and I hope we made you laugh just a little bit.
It certainly was fun for us. Show us support by giving us a thumbs up! I'll see you next
time! Bye!
