Ok, this is wardrobe basic numero uno, number one. Ok, what every woman should have in her
closet is a basic, usually black suit, but if black is not your color, just go to brown
or navy. But, for simplicities sake we are going to start with just a simple black suit.
Now, you always want a suit that of course has a jacket, and a pant that preferably fit
and if it has a skirt as well all the better, buy all three pieces. Now, I want to give
you a couple tips on what to look for when you are purchasing that suit. First of all
you want a fabric that is really seasonless and by that I mean something that does not
wrinkle. Now, this is like a crape Polly blend, ok, that does not wrinkle as you see it just
stays a really nice line. Fabrication is so, so important because you are professional
women and you always want to look crisp. Second thing is, what is really good about a suit
is; and this is where you are going to spend your money, you want the suit to be lined.
Really important that this suit is lined and that it has really good detailing and by that
I mean make sure that it is very crisp lines and that they have nice buttons, they usually
have extra buttons. In the pant I highly recommend a flat front pant but pants are later so hold
onto your hats. So as you see this is a really nice basic black suit, you will wear it forever,
now their is an addendum to the black suit, if you want to look thinner and what women
does not? I always say that the pin stripe hides a number of sins now if you want to
go to a basic black suit and have a second little alternative, always look for the pin
stripe as you see the pin stripe suit is very slimming because of course the lines but what
you also want to look at with the suit is look at the lapel the lapel should lay completely
flat and have a bit of a roll to it. And what I mean by roll is that it literally as you
see here that?s the roll of the collar, which means that it is much better made. Another
thing with suits is that you always want to make sure that it hits you in the right place.
And, by that I mean when you hem your pants it should break just like men?s pants down
at your heal and your sleeve should hit you exactly mid-length right here on your arm.
Now of course the jacket I am wearing does not hit me their but it is a three quarter
length sleeve. Ok, that?s all for fashion, so when we come back we are going to talk
about how to really build on this suit and build your wardrobe ok, so do come back.
