Today, I will show famous Indian snack - Aloo Methi Tikki
Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds. Then add ginger and green chillies and sauté for 30 seconds.
Mix it well and then add the onions.
And sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
Whenever, you make such type of mixture..make sure you make it in a broad non-stick pan.
Our onions are cooked, now we will add remaining ingredients and mix well. then, cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously.
Our Aloo Methi Mixture is ready and now we will allow it cool by spreading the mixture in a plate.
Once cooled, divide the mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a round ball.
We will make Plain Flour-Water mixture and then dip each round ball in the plain flour-water mixture and lightly roll them in bread crumbs in such a way that the balls are evenly coated from all the sides.
You can also shallow fry this Tikki.
Now our tikkis are ready..lets deep fry them.
Allow the tikki to turn brown in colour from all the sides.
If you wish to serve it in your cocktail party, make small balls and deep fry.
