Hi, this is Yolanda Vanveen from vanveenbulbs.com and in this segment we're going to talk about
how to use solar lighting in your garden. I love my solar lights in my garden because
it's nice to know that I'm not using any electricity, all the energy is produced from the sun and
I'm not using anything and it's not costing me anything to light up my garden at night.
There's many different types of solar rocks and solar lighting that you can purchase.
This one is a very easy simple way that you can use the solar lights in your garden. This
one has held up for almost two years now and it's just, pretty much, a plastic cast of
a rock, so it doesn't look like much more than a rock, it's got the solar panel up here
and then it's got the light in here. So, during the day, the solar, the light, or the sun,
energizes the battery and stores all the energy in the battery, there's a battery inside,
and then at night, as soon as it gets dark, it has an automatic turn on switch. Basically,
it knows what to do and it will go ahead and turn on whenever it gets dark. I love it because
it points right into my tree at night and just makes the whole tree light up. Nothings
hooked up to it, there's no wires, it's very simple and it's very economical. I don't think
we paid more than, maybe, twenty or thirty dollars for this rock and we've already enjoyed
it for two years without paying any electricity bills for it.
