There are two ways to thaw chicken. First, you can set it under running cool water until
it thaws. However you don't want to do this for any more than about an hour. And you want
to make sure that the water is draining. The other way to thaw chicken is to set it in
the refrigerator on the bottom shelf so that the drippings do not fall on any other items
in your refrigerator. Your thaw time will vary depending on the size of your chicken.
If you have a whole chicken, it may take about two days to thaw. However if you have a chicken
breast or chicken tenders, it may only take about a day. And that is how you thaw chicken.
