This video explains how to get scanned pictures held by the Library and how to order copies of Library items
This Library has a very active scanning program, focussing on Victorian and Australian material.
We have scanned more than 200,000 pictures and many are available to download freely.
We have also scanned many maps,
many rare printed items
and many manuscripts
When you are searching the catalogue any item with a View online tab will have some online content.
Many out of copyright items can be downloaded freely.
You don't need permission to copy and reuse out of copyright material.
However the Library asks that you acknowledge the relevant Library Collection when using our material.
Some digitised items will be subject to copyright or other access conditions.
If you want to get copies of any of the items held by the Library that haven't already been scanned, you can place an order online.
Choose the 'Details' tab and then the Order a Copy link
The Order a Copy link takes you to our Direct Delivery order form.
To use Direct Delivery you will need to have a current library registration or you can register just for the copying service.
