Erik: Compare and contrast working with large brand clients, as you did working in consulting,
with individuals seeking love like you do with your company Save the Dateing.
Hattie: Working for a large consulting company, working with these big multinational clients,
when people fall under the umbrella of a big corporation they… especially when you’re
working with C level executives, they know their stuff. There’s no - they’re confident,
they’re approaching you to find out their plan of attack but they’re really good at
what they do and they worked really hard to get to where they are and they’re under
the umbrella of a big corporation and they’re tough as nails and they’re confident in
what they need and what they need from you. My clients in Save the Dateing are coming
to me because they’re looking for something that isn’t so black and white and isn’t
so… you know, isn’t so sterile. Like, everyone has a different history and for some
people they’re terrified of love, for some people they’re coming because their really
excited and they want to meet some people, for some people they’ve just gotten out
of something and are incredibly hurt and almost like just want to talk through with you what
you can bring to the table or even when people are confident in who they are, in terms of
love and life and relationships its just not a simple thing its not one dimensional, its
not like working with corporate clients who know their financials backwards and forwards
and they’ve been with that corporation and have a good sense of their branding and their
brand positioning, you can’t do that when it comes to love and your personal life. And
you’re dealing with people… you’re dealing with an incredible personal subject and something
that’s incredibly important.
