what's up guys... so today I will be doing a ukulele tutorial on Somewhere Over the Rainbow
by Izzy or Iz.you can just say that for short. pretty simple song. the strum pattern is down-down-up-up-down-up
just very simple just down-down-up-up-down-up... so the chords are going to be C... Em... Am...
F... G... E7... Cmaj7... and Fadd9 and if you don't know what that is, its just kinda
like this and then you take off this one finger but I just leave it there because its easy
to switch from F to Fadd9. and it just sounds like. so its very simple uhh... so the strumming
pattern is just down-down-up-up-down-up so its the introduction and that's gonna be,
so its all just one counts, so its gonna be just... and you go to the next song or to
the next note apparently I guess, but yeah. uhh... so the chords in order it's gonna be...
and that's a C, and then you're gonna go to Cmaj7... A minor... F... back to a C... to
a G... to an A minor... F.... to an Fadd9... and then from Fadd9 to an F... and then you
play the F 2 counts. so in complete sequence in order it would be... so that's kinda the introduction
I'm not perfect at this so don't judge me, I got a ukulele 2 weeks ago so... I just learned
this song. so... yeah... and then... the... ohhh I guess you could say the ooh in general...
uhh... all that's gonna be 2 counts but I'm only playing one count so just remember that.
you just go in double counts... so... first note is going to be C... E minor... F... C...
F... E7... A minor... an A... err, F... and so on. and that's how the ooh goes but normally...
err I just play it in one count but you play it in 2 counts.. umm... so I could just save
time... yeah... so in general of the ooh... is geos like this... and that's kinda like
what the ooh is...the E7 is kinda tough when you do the switches... so at least for me
so... don't judge me because I just got it so... yeah... and then we're gonna do, is
we're gonna go to the verses... and those are a little bit.. like almost exactly the
same... as... the ooh and... a little bit of the introduction but not really that much
so... once again this is 2 counts but I'm just going to play... in... one count... so
first is C... and then you go to A minor... F... go to the C... to an F... C... G... A
minor... and F... and that's just the verses, you do 2 of those... each counts 2... so 2
counts then you play that twice for two verses... so the verses will sound like... and that's
what is gonna be and then you're gonna go to the chorus, which is gonna be very, very
simple. the notes are... 2 counts but, I'm just gonna play them once... blah, blah, blah
I said that too many time but, so you're gonna start with C... and then you're gonna go to
a G... A minor... then F... then you start it over at C... and then go to a G... A minor...
and F... and then, so that's just gonna do this for chorus and play that over and play
that 2 blah, blah, blah umm, and then you go back to verses. and you probably do one
more verse and then you do the chorus one more time and then you go back to the ooh...
and then you're done... I'm not really gonna sing it because I'm a terrible singer... anyways...
I'm just gonna go through it really quickly so... and that's kinda what it is... but you
play the verses twice and then the chorus and then play the verse one more time... then
you play chorus then ??? and this is just somewhere over the rainbow, then there's...
the...what a wonderful world and I'll probably be making another video for that and that's
really, really simple... so... yeah see ya.
