timothy correct is the straight christian man however after one it is
about friends came out as a lesbian
he decided that he would come out and stayed in the least rate
just to experience what it's like to be
again individual now the next day video he talks about his interaction with his
female friends who came out and some of that torture she suffered from her own
family let's take a look
and then another girl
uh... she was a friend that i had no clue was in the closet
until she broke down one night outside of karaoke and told me in tears that she
had just come out for a family had been brutally the sound
she had been excommunicated from her entire life
into words a change of l
two simple words i'm getting
she confided in me about my reaction was it any more loving than our parents and
after we parted ways a funny thing happened
for the first time in my life i was moved enough to question that little
voice inside my head that told me that this precious girl crying on my shoulder
wasn't abominable scarier bad
called the holy spirit caught a granite tiffany but somehow in that moment
i knew that my life and my faith had wondered drastically offcourse
okay so i have to watch that video i have two thirds of they're about to give
us it is are you talking about the holy spirit dot light up
what colin natural human and the thing and wants to maintain
i'd really like the national inclination to feel bad for people who are suffering
right eileen sees the reasons that i sense that he does seem like a nice guy
adventist he actually decided to come out is getting even though the straight
because you wanted to experience what it's like to be a gay person
uh... and he said that ninety five percent of his friends and family didn't
want anything to do with him as a result
his mom said the following i'd rather have found out from the doctor that i
had terminal cancer than have a gay son
knives horror don't touch extremely harsh now she came to terms with it
later and then became an advocate for the gay community which i i always find
fascinating triton if it's not a member of your own family then it's okay to
hate on the gay community a but all the study of the gay son you're like no keg
s uh... i got to be more accepting
which is fine i would much rather have her become more excepting that it remain
people individual
now let's watch the next video where he talks about his experience
we live in a society in a country that claims to be civilized and modern and in
mind
but what i found was anything but
this book is about the story of my ear it's a story about lost but also about
profound game
it's a story about a guy that thought he had his life and faith all figured out
until something drastic happened
the threw everything into question
it's a story about people
the people who saved my faith
but more importantly the people that saved my life
it's about the moment the changed law the moment where the tables were turned
and everywhere i went
and that jesus in drag
went this experience and in the beginning he'll place
basically homophobe
he felt that being gay it was an abomination uh... received believe that
you know you were going to go to hell
you're gonna suffering turn torture
if you were a gain you didn't become straight you would go around tried it
you know carries all cure people exactly
so if you have a religion that teaches you these things
and then you realize what the reality is
maintain that fee
right because
i don't understand how corrupt christians
fortunately was not exposed to fundamentalist christianity
when i was in church i learned about helping the poor
i learned about uh... being a good
member of society and learned about
morality but not stupid morality as in like you should hate everyone who is a
christian who doesn't believe in what you believe that they don't just be a
good person helping those in need that that was paid rolled into my head
growing up as a christian but i understand that their churches out there
that emphasize the hate and that sounds like the kind of church he went to so
how do you maintain your religion and your belief when you've been brainwashed
by this bs your entire life well i mean i think at the end from a little
different search like this with his mom so to reconsider played out ninety five
percent of friends year later and now suddenly in favor of homosexuality
now when we talk about christianity in america and i think the most lots of
america think of krista christian conservatives basically but there are
huge liberal churches
not in some parts of the country but i'm from the east coast and that's that's
more common anti-drug
um... sometimes going to roman catholic church sometimes going to lutheran
church and to those breeze christian um... it was much more liberal than ever
talked about homosexuality writing really pay attention that much anyway
but i remember hearing anything about homosexuality
so he could end up going to a liberal church now
uh... when i first saw the headline that he comes up i thought this is gonna be
like
you know i pretended to gay and it's a dan and c_n_n_ stuff like that but i was
very glad to see that
it's very interesting i think the people should read this book
i would like to have probably in a while because i was in when i read a book and
i don't but it seems interesting classes very product line
party members though commercial officially but
i do think eighth it is very interesting but the the thing that
an insider have a lot of sympathy for when he went through and i i love that
that he did this by
in the end i think you can call us working into
probably becoming more of what we consider a little christian liberal
liberal christian
needed an ending the impact they can care for these people and not tryin
difficult like it over a year to get it to work with your faith
just in the face and you have no reason to make people need to get in the first
place have a problem with the state uh... gentlemen saying that he could do
what he did it and just do it from a secular point of view it wouldn't be
such a journey i wouldn't be so difficult
okay i hear what you're saying but at the same time
time either the cable it jake doesn't agree with the okay he is i think you
know there's enough *** ability either
i believe that
everyone should have
whatever faith they believe right if you wanna be a christian that's totally fine
my problem with religion is
when people try to
have their religion dictate the lives of others and in this case he went through
this social experiment for himself for his own enlightenment and heat took away
what he needed to take away from it and i'm in favor of it if he wants to remain
a christian that's fine and if you want to admit i christian that you know or if
you want to go to the type of christian church that i want to and i was growing
up where
emphasize the good elements of religion i'm totally fine with that
as long as you're not harming others while believing what you believe that
that's totally fine
