Alright guys. This is Max Happer again for How Cast. And what I'm going to do today is
give a couple tips for the hard beaters out there. Now, what a hard *** is, obviously,
is a person that finds a hard time putting muscle on their body. No matter what they
try to do. Eat a lot, work out hard, they end up staying slim. Now, I hate to break
the news to you guys, but what that really means is that your metabolism is really, really
fast. And in the future, you're probably going to be really happy about that. But for now,
it's probably making you a little sad. But, this is what we need to do. Alright. So after
we work out, we need to fuel our body with lots of calories. Obviously we're going to
need a lot of protein, a lot of carbohydrates. So if you're a hard gainer, obviously that
means that any food you put in your body is decimated. Right? It's just burnt up really
quick.
So you need to actually eat a lot more during your day. Now there's other supplements, something
I could tell you about, called branch chain amino acids, and glutamine, which really help
your body store the muscle, and preserve it. Instead of breaking it down on days when maybe
you don't eat enough, or you're doing a lot of cardio. But the reality is, for all you
hard gainers out there, is that your metabolism is really, really fast. And that you need
to put more calories in your system. So, some people will tell me I can't eat any more,
but then reality is, if you want to get bigger, you need to eat more.
Now one really important thing when it comes to hard gainers is the fact that you need
to do all the big, big muscles. Alright? So one focus, essentially my focus when I'm working
with a hard gainer, is that we need to work on legs a lot. Now working out your legs boosts
your testosterone, and your HGH. Which is something that you definitely want to increase
for a hard gainer. Alright? So that's definitely one of the things you'll be doing. Your squats,
other big exercises like chest press, and pullups. You're not going to be working on
little specifics, so they're not going to be helping you get anywhere. Only the big,
big exercise will do anything for a hard gainer.
Now, the other part to it is you're going to have to cut down your cardio. If you're
in the gym doing a lot of cardio, you're going to be wasting a lot of muscle that you're
trying to save. Alright? So if you're a hard gainer, you're going to have to cut down your
cardio, lift a lot of heavy weight, and do a lot of big muscle movement exercises. Those
are the tips I have for you. So get out there. Do all the things I'm telling you. Let me
know how it goes. But still stay safe.
