So, I wanted to talk to you a little bit about the difference between a curling iron and
a curling wand. And this is a conical curling wand, meaning it goes from fat to skinny.
A curling iron is going to give you a flat, soft curl that's curled from the, evenly curled
from the root to the tip. It's going to give you the most smoothness that you can get out
of a curl. So, if you have really textured or frizzy hair, it's going to be your best
option.
Also, if you have damaged ends, the, holding the end of your hair in between the two metal
plates actually gives it a lot of smoothness and shine.
That being said, a wand is a super modern curl. A little bit more like a natural one
if it's shaped like this. Because, it keeps a good bit of fullness at the top of the hair
and more of a curly look throughout the bottom.
Also, really fast to use. So, if you're in a hurry you can definitely bust through your
hair a little bit faster that way.
And the curl, I will say, the biggest difference to me is the feel of the curl. This is a flat,
smooth curl and this is more of a puffy, big curl. You can see, then, if I were to make
it even more puffy. And those are the same size.
So, that's the basic difference between a curling wand and a curling iron.
