Alright so when we're cleaning this guy up, what I like to do is use my manufactured sponge
right here and clean up my hands real good. And then just start going by cleaning up any
funkiness that happened along the way, alright. And always remember there's going to be glaze
that's all over this thing when it's done, so it's no big deal to get up in there and
take; this potter's knife right here is great for getting in there to where your fingers
can't really, mine can't and then just really connecting these appendages up here like that
and on the neck; o.k. and around there. These eyes look kind of spooky so I'm going to make
them a little happier; something, something's going on. I'll work with those eyes later;
right now I'm just going to get rid of them, I don't like the way they look. Just smooth
it out; I'm going to come back in there and put like little round balls in there so his
eyes are kind of sticking up, I think that'll make it look more fun. Go in there smooth
it up, smooth it up; get rid of any of those score marks if you can, like I said; no big
deal if you can't because the glaze will fill it in. Go in there, tidy all that up; just
get rid of the score marks, alright; here just like that and like that. And I take my
needle tool; give it kind of like little fingers or something here. Like I say seeing sea turtles;
they have some kind of nails or something at the end of their flippers, I've seen them
and it just gives another thing of development. Alright, I'm going to go back once again with
a sponge; just make this look like it's all flowing together. Just go to each appendage;
flow it into the piece itself, get rid of those marks that you made with the potter's
knife and there you go. Go in, clean it up; clean it up, go back those little eyes that
I was talking about; I have a feeling this will really make it kind of goofy, too big.
There, sort of funny looking little eyes; get my needle tool, there we go; o.k. Alright,
one sea turtle casserole dish. And what you'd want to finish it off with is would be a beautiful
ribay green; it's got the greens and the blues in there and it really looks sharp.
