You are free:

  • to Share — to copy, distribute and transmit the work, and
  • to Remix — to adapt the work

Under the following conditions:

  • Attribution — You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work.)

With the understanding that:

  • Waiver — Any of the above conditions can be waived if you get permission from the copyright holder.
  • Other Rights — In no way are any of the following rights affected by the license:
  • your fair dealing or fair use rights;
  • the author's moral rights; and
  • rights other persons may have either in the work itself or in how the work is used, such as publicity or privacy rights.

Notice — For any reuse or distribution, you must make clear to others the license terms of this work. The best way to do that is with a link to http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/

All community contributed content to Readable is licensed under the Creative Commons BY-SA 3.0 license. You are free to share, remix, analyze and extend user created transcripts from Readable, as long as you follow the attribution requirements.

What are the attribution requirements?

In keeping with the spirit of sharing and proper attribution, and as the “attribution” part of the CC BY-SA license, we require that you do the following when you use transcript data, in part or in full, from Readable:

  • Visually indicate that the content is from Readable. A discreet text blurp is sufficient on pages that contain transcript data from Readable.
  • Direct link back to the original transcript URL on Readable (eg. http://www.allreadable.com/123456)
  • Those links should be ordinary hyperlinks directly to the Readable site, without “nofollow” or any link shortening, link obfuscation or redirection.
